1-2-1 Training

Swim Open 1-2-1 sessions are led by one of our expert instructors. During a 1-2-1 we are able to analyse your own stroke and tailor a bespoke teaching plan based on your own needs and goals. A series of 1-2-1 sessions can be particularly useful for a first time open water swimming who might understandably be slightly nervous. And equally a series of 1-2-1s can be a great option for swimmers gearing up for their first ever Triathlon or perhaps an endurance event such as an Ironman or 10km swim. Be prepared to swim more confidently, faster and smoother!

What You’ll Learn

What you learn is entirely up to your own needs and goals. But more generally we will follow the following steps – conquering open water anxiety, stroke analysis, stoke correction, open water skills and wetsuit swimming adaptations. More experienced and race-ready swimmers may also want to focus on developing race tactics.


You must be able to swim at least 100m in a pool before you sign up for an Open Water swimming 1-2-1 lesson.
